Greenkeepers Landscaping Crew Chief Position

4o hour/week Full time Position: Year Round.
One (1) week PAID vacation after 12 months.
Two (2) weeks paid vacation after 36 months.
Some Saturdays will be REQUIRED.
Arrive at shop 7:20 A.M. start work 7:30 A.M.
Depending on your skill set, work duties may include:
-Managing workflow for a crew of two (2) to nine (9) workers
-Managing start of day assignments
-Addressing daily AM and PM “Punch Lists”
-Weekly lawn care
-Weekly bed maintenance
-Lawn fertilization
-Ornamental tree & shrub care
-Turf grass, ornamental tree & shrub pest and disease diagnosis
-Landscape bed & plantings layout & installation
-Irrigation repair & installation
-Grading & seeding of new lawns
-Outdoor lighting repair & installation
-Snow plowing and other related snow removal procedures
-Minor in-field repair and maintenance of equipment
-Client relations, addressing clients concerns on a daily basis
-New client acquisition
Uniforms and personal safety equipment provided.
Ongoing training provided by Greenkeepers.
A great attitude towards client satisfaction is REQUIRED.
Ability to address clients concerns REQUIRED.
Leadership skills REQUIRED.
Experience REQUIRED for this position. Starting pay based upon experience.
Three (3) years minimum landscaping maintenance REQUIRED.
Two (2) landscape industry references REQUIRED.
Proficiency in the use of commercial mowers, string trimmers, powered hedgers, chain saws, walk behind & backpack blowers REQUIRED.
A strong work ethic and willingness to exceeded expectations supersede experience.
Quarterly pay increases based upon evaluations. Quarterly Evaluations include:
-Attendance
-Attitude towards your work, co-workers, and our clients
-Aptitude to learn, perform and improve in your assigned duties
Must be able to start no later than two weeks after you are offered a position with Greenkeepers.
